Your users can simply start viewing the documents right in browser with no downloads or setups or install. The security of documents remains intact as documents are always streamed and buffered directly from the server. No downloads of document copies happens on client machines.
You can also use the Digital Rights Management module to protect the content within the documents. Digital Rights Management module works with Adeptol Document Viewer server and allows you to specify permissions using an easy to use API. It helps not only to protect the sensitive information from being printed by end users but also restricts the users from saving or copying the documents itself. By adding an IRM control on the document you can not only render the document as view only document, but also control printing, navigation, pan control and even saving of document —within a work group, across departments, or with partners and suppliers outside the firewall.
None of the permissions are stored in the document itself, keeping your original document as it is, thus complying you with legal restrictions and compliance regulations. The document does not even gets downloaded in cache of the client machine and you can enforce restrictions on documents on user level, document level or even create your own control groups. When your business needs change, you can dynamically change or revoke access to users easily.
